500px for iPhone now allows you to take and edit photos from the app

500px

After the arrival of the DeviantArt application to the App Store, now it is the turn of a large 500px app update, another photography community where you can discover, share, buy and sell all kinds of unique snapshots.

Until now, the 500px application for iPhone was practically limited to being a viewer of the photos hosted in the community, however, after updating to version 2.9 it now takes on a new role thanks to the possibility of take and edit photos from the iPhone itself.

Taking advantage of the API that developers have in iOS 8 to manage the functions of the iPhone camera, the 500px app allows us to take photos and control certain settings such as exposure or focus management, being able to select between manual or automatic mode. Once the photo is taken, at our disposal we have a small editor thanks to which we can provide that touch of personalization that interests us.

If we like the final result and it is at the height of what is usually seen in 500px, the application gives you the option to upload photos that you have done so that everyone can enjoy them.

In addition to all of the above, 500px has been adapted to be compatible with iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Support for 1Password has also been added during sign-in and improvements have been made to the performance and stability of the application.
