Amazon signs an agreement to broadcast all Spanish series on its VOD service

For a couple of months, it seems that the guys at Amazon Prime Video, have put the batteries and want to start advertising and motivating the use of their streaming video service, a streaming video service that for now is included in the annual Prime fee, which currently has a price of 20 euros per year.

All the movements that Amazon is making, it seems that they are oriented, not only to promote the use of its VOD service, but also, it is oriented to justify the next price update that looks like the service will suffer Amazon Prime, so if we had any doubts about it not being updated, everything seems to indicate otherwise.

The latest news related to Amazon Prime Video is found in the agreement it has signed with Atresmedia, RTVE and Mediaset to carry all original series to Amazon's video on demand platform, expanding the number of series currently available in Spain by 34, which does not mean that these series may also be available in other countries over time.

All new episodes will be available on Amazon right after they have been broadcast on televisionTherefore, one broadcast channel is not replaced by another, but rather they complement each other. This is excellent news for all those users who follow the Spanish series and that if for some reason they cannot see the episode live, they will be able to do so through Amazon Prime without having to resort to the happy applications of the television channels that are riddled with advertisements and whose availability is reduced over time.

This agreement is a very important step not only for the international expansion of Spanish series, but also for Amazon, which can see how its VOD service begins to be a real alternative both in Spain and in Latin America, whether it is included in the Prime quota or outside it, as the recent rumors that I have commented above seem to indicate.
