If you are currently running a Beta version of iOS 14, this is a good time to update the system. And it is that the Cupertino company has stepped on the accelerator and has already entered a loop of weekly updates of what appears to be the final version of iOS 14, increasingly outlined and with fewer bugs.
With less than a week apart, Apple definitely launches iOS 14 Beta 8 and points out that we will see the Golden Master version very soon. As we have said before, if you are running iOS 14 Beta 7 it is a good time for you to update, since these Beta versions usually bring improvements that significantly affect the stability of the device.
To update to iOS 14 Beta 8 you must go to Settings> General> Software Update and it will check for the update automatically. If by any chance the update does not appear, we recommend that you turn off the device and turn it on again and of course that you are connected to a WiFi network. Hand in hand with iOS 14 Beta 8, iPadOS 14 Beta 8 has obviously arrived, so you can also search for this update directly on your iPad if you wish, could we be close to GM before the final event on September 15?
I am practically clear that we are not facing the Golden Master at this time because it has been a fairly light update (about 120 MB depending on the device), however GM usually reinstalls the entire system and occupies a few GB on our device. What we have clear is that on September 15 we have an Apple event, so everything indicates that there will be no iPhone 12 until October at the earliest. Stay tuned, because this Beta 8 of iOS 14 does not seem to bring more than simple fixes, so the final version will be just around the corner.
Since beta 3 I have problems with the top bar, the one that shows the signal icons, battery, etc, I get 5 or 0 blank squares, does it happen to someone else?
