Apple Releases New HomePod Firmware Coming to Market in December

The HomePod firmware has been, since Apple included it in its servers, although not for direct download, a constant source of information, related to the iPhone X and the next models and releases that Apple plans to make. Thanks to the HomePod iPhone X design and new Face ID facial recognition system confirmed, being the official confirmation that everyone was looking for from Apple, even indirectly.

The HomePod will hit the market in December, though only will be available in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand. But meanwhile, the guys from Cupertino have just released a new firmware for this device, which, as we have previously published, is in the hands of some employees to polish its operation.

The first HomePod firmware arrived on Apple's servers last July and as I have commented, was an inexhaustible source of information mainly about the iPhone. The new version of the firmware is already available on Apple's servers but it seems that Apple has not bothered to make it difficult to access it, so it is likely that in a few days, we will start publishing new news about this device or any other data stored in the new firmware.

The HomePod does not reach the market to compete with the Amazon Echo managed by Alexa or the Google Home, although it will be managed by Apple's assistant Siri, but Apple's idea is to try to put its head in the ecosystem of quality speakers for the home, a market that is currently in the hands of Sonos mainly. Inside the HomePod we find the A8 chip to manage both the connections and to analyze the environment where it is located to manage the sound it reproduces in one way or another.
