Apple has been preparing a musical comedy full of well-known stars, and it seems that it already has the series finished. It already has a release date, and the company has just released the first official trailer, to get you started.
So far we had only seen some photos of the shoot, and they had told us who will appear in the series. Finally we already have a promotional video with some fragments of it, and release date: it will be the Friday July 16.
Apple TV + just shared on your official account YouTube the first trailer for the upcoming musical comedy «Schmigadon!»Which will launch the platform. The series is produced by Lorne Michaels (Saturday Night Live), and stars Oscar nominee Cecily as Strong (Saturday Night Live) and Emmy Award winner Keegan-Michael as Key (Dolemite Is My Name).
Apple has confirmed along with the launch of the promotional video, that the series will premiere in Apple TV + on Friday July 16 of this year.
The series is about how Key y Strong They are trying to solve their relationship problems. To do this, they set out on a backpacking trip that ultimately leads them to discover a city that is living in a 1940s musical. As you can imagine, many "musical" adventures occur.
Once immersed in the magical city, they discover that they cannot leave it until they discover true love between the two protagonists.
Alan Cumming (The Good Wife), Fred Armisen (Portlandia), Kristen Chenoweth (Wicked), Dove Cameron (Descendants), Jaime Camil (Jane the Virgin) and many other artists will also star in this new musical series.
The first season consists of six episodes. They can be seen in full on Apple TV + starting July 16. There's no official confirmation yet, but a second season is rumored to be in the works already.
