Apple releases iOS 9.3 beta seven to developers and publicly

9.3 iOS Beta

Apple just launched the 9.3th beta of iOS XNUMX. The launch was a relative surprise, since they already launched one on Monday of last week and another just two weeks ago, so we have had three betas in just fifteen days. Developers can now download the new beta from the Apple Developer Center and via OTA (Over The Air), while non-developers will only be able to install this update, like all the others, via OTA.

As always when a new beta version is released, we do not recommend its installation Unless you are developers or you know what you are exposed to by installing it. Most likely, although we are just over a week away from the final version, you will run into small bugs, which can result in unexpected closings, frozen applications or system instability. Also remember that it is necessary to have 50% battery or the iPhone connected to a power outlet in order to install a new version of iOS.

Being a week away from the event in which they will present the iPhone SE and 9.7-inch iPad ProWe might think that the seventh beta for developers is the Golden Master but, if it were, users who have the public beta installed should not have a new version available. This only leaves us three possibilities: one is that iOS 9.3 is not released publicly on March 21, something that is possible if the launch occurs on March 25, which is when both devices would have to be put on sale (at Unless they arrive the following week, that would be a fourth possibility). The second possibility is that there is no GM version, but this seems unlikely to me, since developers usually have the final version a week before others. The third possibility is that the seventh beta is the GM, so from now on all users could test the final version before its official launch, which does not seem very likely.

If you install this new version and you find any interesting news, do not hesitate to leave your impressions in the comments.

Pablo Aparicio .. I do not know if you have had the opportunity to test the betas of iOS 9.3, since beta 3 I have noticed an abysmal performance compared to previous versions such as iOS 9, 9.1, 9.2, 9.2.1

I advise you to try this latest beta 7 that I installed this afternoon and it has no lags or bugs as in iOS 9.2.1 and earlier, the animations go super smooth on my 6 plus and honestly when I install iOS 9 and get to iOS 9.2.1 and I saw those lags both in apps and multitasking .. I thought this iPhone was lost, I thought it was a hardware thing because it only had 1gb of ram.

Hello Jose. Well, I have not tried them. On the "test" phone I have the jailbreak and I could not decide to install iOS 9.3.

      A greeting.

I just installed Beta 7 and I still notice a difference compared to the previous beta. She runs flawlessly for a beta. Where it is most noticeable is with the use of pre-installed apps, they really open and load their content without delay (even if it is 1 sec. Or less, in previous versions the animation was really noticeable when opening and loading an app), such as in the camera app, mail, settings, etc. I have always preferred to install from scratch, because I consider that updates via OTA do not work the same, but I will say it again, I have been surprised by the fluidity in this version. HOW IOS 9 HAD TO BE FROM THE BEGINNING !!! Because despite being a fan of Apple, I can't understand that they achieve a polished version of the operating system only 6 months later, when they are already with one foot in iOS 10 and to present it in a month or 1.

Now the official version will arrive and they will screw it up again with something, it is not that it is pessimistic, it is that Apple has done this to me lately with its products.

I take it back ... I already restarted the phone (iPhone 6) and it was normal again ...

I think Apple is getting out of hand with patches, they get in the middle of the life of IOS9 that it works as it should be, but that does not mean that IOS10 is the same, we will always be half a year polishing bugs of lags etc ... I hope that IOS10 starts from here and is not a separate division with the inheritance of early IOS9.

Hi Pablo, I would like to know if the iPhone 4s is compatible with iOS 9.3 because I have 9.2.1?

    1.    Paul Aparicio said

Hello Alejandro. Yes. Any iOS device is compatible with all the launching versions of a system. That is: if you can install iOS 9.0, you can install iOS 9.x, no matter how high the "x" is.

      A greeting.
