Josephine Decker will be in charge of directing this adaptation of the film, a film based on the script that the author of the novel himself has adapted to bring it to the big screen. The film's producers are Denise Di Novi and Margaret French Isacc via Di Novi Pictures.
The Sky is Everywhere focuses on the story of a high school girl named Lennie who misses her sister who recently passed away. During that period, she falls in love with her sister's boyfriend and a new Chinese who has come to town named Joe.
