Apple has renewed its range of headphones with the new AirPods 4 in two finishes and has renewed the AirPods Max, as well as new health features to AirPods Pro 2
AirPods 4
Apple says AirPods 4 are the most comfortable they've ever made. Featuring the H2 processor and a new sound architecture, they promise the best sound ever from AirPods, including even personalized Spatial Sound, and improvements in conversations on calls or video conferences thanks to the noise cancellation system of their microphones. They've also added the USB-C connector to the charging case, the smallest case they've ever created. And they've also added a new model that's $50 more expensive and includes noise cancellation. thanks to the H2 processor, isolating you from noise without affecting the quality of the sound included. Adaptive sound automatically reduces the noise around you, and if you start talking to someone, it will automatically detect the conversation by reducing the sound so you can hear everything. The charging case also has wireless charging and a speaker.
AirPods Max
In addition to adding new colors, they are now available with the USB-C connector and maintain the same price as the previous model. Plus, the features we already knew from the AirPods Pro 2 are included: adaptive sound and adaptive noise cancellation. There's not much else new in Apple's most expensive earphones.
AirPods Pro
There are no new AirPods Pro 2 but they do include new health features:
- Prevention: AirPods Pro now include hearing protection thanks to noise cancellation, reducing the intensity of the noise around you.
- Detection: To detect potential hearing problems, AirPods Pro can perform a test that takes just 5 minutes to help you detect possible hearing loss thanks to a medically validated test.
- Help: You can use your AirPods Pro as a hearing aid device, thanks to its directional microphone you can put it in your ear and listen to what is happening around you.
