The Swiss bank UBS has published a study it has carried out on Apple Watch sales in the last quarter, which could have been 1,7 million units, something surprising considering that they are 100.000 units more than in the first quarter of the year . According to the bank, despite having been on the market for many months without being renewed, sales of this device have been very similar and even higher than last year, even more so considering that the renewal date is approaching, or at least the date of presentation of the new model, because the expected date for its arrival on the market would be for the end of the year.
According to UBS, Apple Watch sales predictions for the third quarter of this year could be two million units, so the total Apple Watch sales figure in Apple's fiscal year 2016 ending September 30 would offer total Apple smartwatch sales of 10,35 million units, ranking as the most popular smartwatch ahead of Samsung, but below Fitbit and its quantizer bands.
From the moment of its launch, Apple has never provided official Apple Watch sales figuresas it always groups them under the Other Products category along with sales of iPods, Apple TVs, Beats products, and Genuine Accessories.
