Apple would introduce three new iPhones this year

According to Mark Gurman, Apple is planning to introduce three new iPhone models this year and at the same time. Presumably, as usual, in the fall. These three models would be:

• Un Refurbished iPhone X, which we could call "iPhone 11".
• Un Larger iPhone X, which we could call "iPhone X Plus".
• And a Budget iPhone X, which we could call iPhone "X SE".

Despite the positive review the iPhone X has received, it appears that investors expected more from "the iPhone of the next ten years." We will never know the reasons for this disagreement between investors and sales. But the truth is that the iPhone X entered the market with a price of more than $ 1,000, with some iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus that we could describe as "old acquaintances", and a radically modified design, with new ways of interacting with our device that may not appeal to everyone. It may also be that investors were wrong in their predictions and overestimated you.

Be that as it may, with the new range of models, Apple aims to satisfy any buyer.

The largest iPhone -of all-, with a 6,5 inchpromises to be what many of us ask for: an all screen Plus size iPhone. Of course, it would have Face ID and the end-to-end screen, which would be OLED and with a resolution of 1242 x 2688 pixels.

This iPhone would be the equivalent to the refurbished iPhone X Plus model that would be to come. From said renewed iPhone X, we expect improvements in the processor (A12), in the camera, in Face ID, as well as new colors as the outstanding novelties.

After many rumors about iPhone SE 2, it seems that Apple's commitment to an "economic" iPhone would be to offer an iPhone X reduced in size and features, but with end-to-end display, albeit LCD.

Although The idea of ​​a "small" iPhone X as an entry model seems spectacular to me, the advantage of the economic models that Apple has released over the years has been to benefit from an older design (it would not be the case) or from past technology (which I do not think we can consider Face ID or screens without almost edges).

If these three iPhones were presented like this, we would leave behind the "home" button, Touch ID and the screens with borders from one year to the next.

Another rumor that Mark Gurman drops is the possibility of Dual SIM iPhone. Honestly, it would be more appropriate to bet big (as Apple knows how to do and force) on E-Sims like the Apple Watch LTE.

My opinion is that Apple would be right by structuring the iPhone range again, as it is now too long and messy. Renewing the entire range, they would also make a clean slate with all the battery problems that current models have had, as well as being able to squeeze iOS to the fullest if only iPhone with “bionic” processors (A11) were left.
