The podcast They have become a different way of communicating and entertaining whose growth has been seen during 2020. There are large platforms that want to encourage and promote podcast listening such as Spotify or Apple Podcasts. However, in the App Store there are dozens of applications that allow listen to our favorite podcasts maintaining a careful, modern and functional design. Among these apps is Castro Podcast Player, an app with a minimalist design and advanced playback tools. This app has been updated in the App Store including three new widgets for the iOS 14 home screen compatible, yes, with dark mode.
Three New Widgets Come to Castro Podcast Player
Castro Podcast Player has a number of advantages such as the ability to start podcast playback without logging in or registering on any platform. Another of its virtues is compatibility with the Apple Watch or even CarPlay. Its operation is based on add episodes to the queue. As we finish some episodes, others will begin and so on. We can also subscribe and receive notifications when new episodes arrive.
La nueva version 2020.13 de Castro Podcast Player brings with it three new widgets for iOS 14. In this way, we can access the podcasts in the queue with just a couple of taps. There are three different sizes:
- Small: We will only see the number of episodes in the queue, with the hours that are of reproduction and the four overlapping covers.
- Medium: we will see the number and total duration of episodes, and the first four episodes with their title and a brief description.
- Grande: it contains the same information as the medium size but with a little more space for descriptions and a fifth episode appears.
These widgets they are compatible with the dark mode of iOS 14. This means that when we move the system from dark to light mode, the widgets will change as well. In the update, they have also been included four new icons to customize the icon that appears on the Springbord of our device.
