Cydia crashes when jailbreaking iOS 9? Try this solution

non-cydia

Pangu launched his tool to make the jailbreak to iOS 9 And, although it has worked well in most cases, some users reported installation problems, problems that should be solved, or at least happen less, in version 1.0.1 of the tool. Another problem is that many users experience closes when trying to open Cydia after jailbreak your iPhone, iPod or iPad. If you are experiencing this failure, follow the steps below that are working in many cases.

[UPDATE]: This system is no longer valid because iOS 9.1 has already been released

Fix Cydia crashes in iOS 9

  1. We make an encrypted backup with iTunes.
  2. We downloaded the iOS 9.0.2 .ipsw from our device from getios.com
  3. We put the device in DFU mode: 1- We connect the device to the computer and launch iTunes, 2- We press and hold the start button + sleep for 10 seconds, 3- We release the rest button and hold the start button until we see the message of confirmation in iTunes.
  4. On our computer, we press ALT on Mac or Shift on Windows and click Restore iPhone.
  5. Once restored, we do the jailbreak following our tutorial.
  6. After jailbreaking, before opening Cydia for the first time, we make sure that the airplane mode is off and that we are connected to the internet. This is the important part. Better to do it connected to a Wi-Fi network.
  7. We launch Cydia and wait for it to load completely. We must not touch anything until the load is finished. The device will reboot, but it is normal.
  8. We recover the backup, if we wish.

This method works many times, so if you are having problems, it is a more than likely solution. Do not hesitate to leave in the comments if it has worked for you or not. However, Pangu is likely to release more versions to improve the tool's XNUMX percent success rate.

In case it would help anyone: I simply restored the iPhone again, set it up as new, jailbroken it, checked that there were no problems this time, and finally restored the backup. It worked for me and it's a bit simpler process than the one Pablo describes (which I'm sure works too, but in case anyone wanted to try this out first, which is a bit simpler).

    regards

    Hi, Pablo!!!
I have not jailbroken yet, I continue on iOS 8.4 because I prefer to wait for the tweaks I use to be compatible and work 100%. Of course I have been updating everything that appears in Cydia and ... Suddenly something strange happened to me ... I updated some tweaks and now Cydia does not open and I have no idea what the problem is.
What happened? Do you have any ideas to help me solve?

It helps me if I open cydia but it appears that the server's certificate is not valid that I am accessing a cervidor that pretends to be cydia.saurik.com and that my information may be compromised. Any advice please, I can not do anything in cydia

The only thing I can think of is that you restore and re-jailbreak… And that you download the Pangu software from the official website and nowhere else.

Hi, cydia closes when I try to open it, I am going to restore but first I want to know if when making a backup in crypts the non-purchased applications (downloaded from vshare) would be deleted? since I have several downloads that take up a lot and it is a bummer to download them again.
Thank you very much and greetings.

Itunes does not allow you to restore normally to 9.0.2 but directly to 9.1
In the same way, from one moment to the next, when I open cydia, the screen remains blank and in 3 seconds the application closes. All installed tweaks work normally but I cannot enter cydia

Hello good. I am new to this from Cydia. I have the Iphone 4s IOS 9.0.2 and I need to unlock it. I always had it with RSim, but when I update it to Ios 9.0.2 it becomes outdated and stops working. Now I don't know what to do, I hope someone knows something. Thanks

Hello, you might be interested in a little trick that I have discovered to remove the cydia loop, (tested on an iPhone 6s Plus with iOS 9.0.2)
Well that, installed zeppelyn and the cydia chaos begins, and I wonder how to uninstall it if I can't open cydia!
I turn off the iPhone and turn it on in Exit Safe Mode (with the iPhone turned off by pressing vol +, until the apple disappears) and voila Cydia works again but without the tweaks, undo the tweaks that are bothering you and restart it. And to keep messing around !!!!
I hope it serves you, greetings and spread!
