Baseball game, as its name implies, it is a baseball game for our iPhone / iPod Touch. It has seen the light relatively recently, and we think that it is a game that deserves a more in-depth analysis.
The game is based on playing against the machine. Unfortunately there is no multiplayer mode, which could be taken as a negative point, given the large number of games that today allow this option.
When hitting the ball, we can do it on the right side or on the left side, although this option is not configurable. It will be the game itself that determines the position in which we will hit. For the cases in which we have to throw the ball, we will have 3 launch options: curve balls, fast or Sliders.
As for the game controls, at first they may seem a bit complicated, but as time goes by we will realize that they are really well thought out. For both the batting and throwing options we can see a flash of light on the screen. At that moment we can tilt our device to hit the ball or to launch it.
However, as a game is never perfect, we could highlight some negatives.
There is no option to save the game in progress, so if we close the application, we will lose the game, and it will restart when we open it again. Today this option is implemented in most games, and we do not understand very well why it has not been included.
Regarding the price of this game, it seems a bit expensive for the options and the type of game that it offers. When we have played several games we realize that it is very easy to always win. We have not noticed an increase in the difficulty of the game, which we did not like very much.
Add that in the game options we can choose our player's uniform from 6 different ones.
Despite some cons, it is worth noting the great graphics of this game. We can see that the details are very well cared for. An example of this is the player's shadows when hitting (which we can also see in the first image of this post).
Baseball game is available on the AppStore at a price of € 2,99, but for a limited time. When this time passes, it will cost € 3,99 again, so if you are interested, do not hesitate to buy it as soon as possible.
