LG was willing to take part of the cake in the manufacture of this type of panels and it seems that now everything is ready for this to be so. Possibly part of the screens of the newly introduced iPhone XS and XS Max with their OLED screens will be manufactured by LG and Samsung. The new iPhone XR is equipped with a 6,1-inch LCD screen so this would be left out.
