Notes created in iOS 15 and macOS 12 betas may not appear in earlier versions

We are in the summer of iOS 15 betas, a summer in which, as usual, we can test all the news that is leaking from the next operating systems for Apple mobile devices. We already have the first public beta among us, and we hope that soon we can start testing the third beta of iOS 15 for developers. But remember the most important thing, we are facing beta versions, that is, test versions so it is likely that you will find some other problem with the operation of your device. Speaking of problems, it is being commented on the networks that Notes generated in iOS 15 or macOS 12 may not appear in earlier versions ... Keep reading that we give you all the details of this problem.

Apparently the problem lies in the possibility of mentioning users in the shared notes of iOS 15, a new functionality that will allow us a collaborative work between all the users who share a note. Obviously this is not a function that we have in previous versions and for now several users would be reporting with the notes that use these new features. As reported by 9to5Mac, if the app Notes identifies a device in our iCloud account that runs a version prior to iOS 14.5 or macOS 11.3, they will notify us that the tagged notes or the Notes containing mentions are hidden on those devices. If our devices are updated to iOS 14.5 or macOS Big Sur 11.3, any notes that use mentions or labels can be viewed as well.

Obviously Apple wants us to keep our devices up to date, and being in previous versions can lead to problems. However, remember that iOS 15 or macOS 12 are in beta version and that until the final version is released we will not be able to confirm the characteristics that are left out of previous versions or what will not appear in previous versions when we create it in the latest versions.
