An Apple presentation event for this September seems already ruled out, but we could have new launches. As Jon Prosser tells us, On September 8 we could have news that would appear directly on the web Apple.
I'm being told that * something * is happening on Apple's website on Tuesday, September 8th.
Between 9: 00-12: 00 EST.

Jon Prosser, Apple's aspiring guru, has a chance to confirm himself as the company's official news leaker. He has been the one who has published on his Twitter account "They tell me that something is going to happen on the Apple website, on Tuesday, September 8 between 9 and 12 (EST)" (between 15 and 18 hours in Spain). This tweet goes in the same direction as another one published a few days ago, with Apple's launch schedule for the next few weeks.
New, adjusted Apple dates!
Apple Watch & iPad
- Via press release
- Week 37 w / c Sep 712 iPhone event
- Week 42 w / c Oct 12iPhone 12 devices
- Preorders week 42 w / c Oct 12
- Shipping week 43 w / c Oct 19iPhone 12 Pro devices
- Preorder and shipping in Nov (no exact date yet)- Jon Prosser (@jon_prosser) August 12
If we combine the information from both tweets, it follows that On the 8th we should see on the Apple website how the new Apple Watch Series 6 and iPad 2020 appear, without presentation event. Recall that the new Apple Watch would include the blood oxygen sensor as the main novelty, and that the iPad 2020 would have a completely renewed design in the iPad Pro style, with the Touch ID sensor on the power button.
There would therefore be an online event for the week of October 12 in which we would see the new iPhone 12 in its different models, with the immediate launch of the iPhone 12 and in November for the iPhone 12 Pro. What about the rest of products? AirPower, AirTag, HomePod Mini, new iMac and MacBook… Will they be included in the October event? Jon Prosser is playing with these tweets all his credibility, which at the moment is a bit in the air with successes and failures in equal parts. In his particular war with Mark Gurman, now in low hours, it will be necessary to see who takes the throne of official filter, since a time ago it was indisputably for Bloomberg, at that time still in 9to5Mac.
