Apple TV +

In recent weeks we have published a large number of news related to both series and movies that will arrive in the coming months on Apple's streaming video service. Many of these series and movies have been paralyzed by the coronavirus and little by little they are resuming.

A couple of weeks ago production resumed on the second season of For All Mankind. The other Apple TV + series that has also resumed production, as we can read in the Deadline media, is Invasion, a science fiction series by Simon Kinberg and David Weil.

Invasion

The Invasion series is one of Apple's most ambitious series to date, a series set on different continents that shows us an alien invasion from multiple perspectives. Invasion is being recorded in New York, Manchester, Morocco and Japan. Much of the New York and Morocco recordings were made before the coronavirus pandemic shutdown.

Invasion stars Sam neill He will play the role of Sheriff John Bell Tayson, a rural lawyer who is about to retire. Shamier anderson  plays the role of Trevante Ward, a soldier stationed in Afghanistan. Golshifteh Farahani will play Aneesha Malik, a first-generation Syrian immigrant who resides on Long Island with her husband, a role played by Firas nassar.

One of the most anticipated movies from Apple's streaming video service is On the Rocks, a film directed by Sofia Coppola and portrayed by Bill Murray. This movie will premiere at the New York Film Festival in the new Spotlight section between September 17 and October 11. Soon after, it will land directly on Apple TV +.
