Saurik confirms there will be up to three tools to jailbreak iOS 11

Some days ago We were talking about LiberTV, the tool to jailbreak your Apple TV 4 or 4K. After a few days, its creator Jonathan Levin launched libios, the tool analogous to the previous one that allowed us to jailbreak our terminals with iOS 11.x (except 11.2).

These tools are still in a state of review since as users test them, errors appear that are debugged with the release of updates. saurik, the creator of Cydia, has confirmed on Twitter that there will be at least three tools to get out of jail to our devices with iOS 11. Apparently the jailbreak had not died, or at least not as we thought.

LiberiOS, Coolstar and an old team: three tools to jailbreak

Saurik is the creator of Cydia and a very important promoter in this world. A few days ago it revealed that I was working with different teams to develop tools compatible with iOS 11. The experts on the subject did not know which were the teams that were working on developing new jailbreaks but it is rumored that they could be known Pangu or TAIG. These two teams have developed tools compatible with iOS 8 and iOS 9.

[…] I think we are about to finish three (or more!) Tools to jailbreak iOS 11, each with a different implementation of the core functionality (and one in particular that is going to be extremely different , since it does not imply a "jailbreak daemon"; P).

Others expected it to be evad3rs, but their disappearance after the release of the iOS 7 jailbreak meant that no more was known about them, leaving Asian teams to lead this race to find vulnerabilities in iOS. Therefore, According to Saurik there would be three great tools for iOS 11: LiberiOS, Coolstar and an old team.

The first one is already available although with some error. The Coolstar tool is being perfected and finished by this hacker, as we can see in one of his latest tweets:

Wonder what name I'd give to a completed iOS 11.0.x -> 11.1.x jailbreak….
