Voice calls on WhatsApp became, based on rumors, one of the most anticipated options by all users of the most used messaging platform around the world. WhatsApp was not the first platform to offer them, but it was the most widely used worldwide, users were eager to make use of them, just like video calls.
Telegram has always been characterized as a platform on which WhatsApp and other companies have relied on when adding new customization or operational features, but when buying them with WhatsApp, you always lose out in the calls and video calls section, a function that for many users is neither essential nor necessary.

Even so, users who have established Telegram as the default application to communicate through messages, from time to time we may miss the option of being able to make a call through the platform, an option that according to the head of the company it will arrive, sooner or later, at least that is what Pavel Durov has confirmed when asked by a follower.
This feature would be much more useful on Telegram than on WhatsApp because the Russian application is cross-platform, so we could make calls from our iPad without having to have our iPhone always on top, as is the case with the green messaging platform. Logically everything depends on the use we make in our day to day, but a platform that offers me the possibility of making use of it from any device connected to the internet, it offers me many more advantages than one that works only with our smartphone via our smartphone when we do it from our PC or Mac.
