I bought it right out of the box. I still have it in very good condition. In fact, I have used it until a few months ago, when I replaced it with a series 6. And as you say, it holds up to the day perfectly and for the use that some give it, it is enough. 😉
I still wear mine every day. Soon I will change it for a series 4 or 5
