This is how to calibrate the battery of an iPad

NewImage

Every Apple device that is portable (iPhone, iPad, MacBook, iPod) has a lithium polymer battery inside, but also has a chip that controls the state of the battery and is the key to its proper functioning. . This chip normally works well, but it never hurts to 'educate' it, and to do that we are going to learn today.

I know there are many ways to calibrate a battery and many opinions, but I'm going to stick to what has worked for me perfectly for years:

  1. Use your iPad and let the battery drain.
  2. When it's used up, leave it like that for at least 3-4 hours and don't do anything with it.
  3. Put it to charge until it is full and leave it connected for a little longer (2-3 hours). You can use it throughout this point.
  4. Calibrated battery.

It is advisable to use it until we go to bed, let it rest overnight and in the morning put it to charge. This process is recommended every 1 to 2 months.

Of course it is totally unnecessary to do what you say .. but if you have nothing to do and you get bored then it is a good tutorial.

The memory effect / medium charges / micro charges etc have long passed into history, precisely with lithium polymer batteries.
