We all know that Apple's trend is that the more and more criticized "notch" of the iPhone screen is getting smaller and smaller. Until one day, (no one knows when) disappear altogether.
And as that day arrives, it seems that rumors suggest that the next iPhone 14 it will again reduce the size of the current notch of the iPhone 13, adopting an elliptical shape, like the diabetes pill that I take every morning….
Developer Jeff grossman just posted to your account TwitterHow the iPhone 14 screen might look. It has replaced the current iPhone 13 notch with a smaller pill-type notch, but it doesn't go unnoticed, far from it.
As can be seen in the image, although the size of the notch is smaller than the current one, the truth is that since it is separated from the screen frame, it takes up more space, and the truth is that since they are not used to it, it draws more attention , and is "less disguised."
It is true that if it is similar to the concept designed by Grossman, it is much shorter than the current one, leaving more space on each side so that iOS can occupy it with new icons that inform us of the status of the device, or data such as the operator, the date, the outside temperature, the Bluetooth connection or the battery percentage, for example .
Maybe "the pill" is the last notch
Apple is working on being able to place some biometric recognition under the screen, like Face ID or a new Touch ID. If you get it soon, this pill-like notch may be the last we see on an iPhone, and that as of 2023, the iPhone 15 will already have a full screen without any "hole".
The obligatory front camera would be a minimal expression, and would be housed in the upper frame, thus leaving the entire screen free, without any notch. Will we ever see it?
