For most, the working position of our laptop or iPad Pro is not the most comfortable, especially when we have to spend several hours with them. In the case of the iPad that is a problem, since we have a single USB-C, unless we have the Magic Keyboard that brings its own USB-C for charging.

The only downside that can be put is the lack of another USB-C for direct charging of the laptop or tablet, a detail that has less relevance with the high autonomy that Apple laptops and tablets have today.
