Yesterday Apple updated iOS 7 to a version that solves a serious security flaw and that therefore it is important to install on our devices. The good news is that this new version does not close the holes that allow the Jailbreak through Evasi0n. Just over 24 hours later, Evad3rs, the hacking team that has developed this Jailbreak, has just updated Evasi0n to version 1.0.6, which supports the new version 7.0.6 and therefore allows us to enjoy Cydia and all the advantages it offers us in our devices.
As recommended by hackers themselves, you have to avoid updates via OTA. If you have the Jailbreak done, you will not be able to use this system to update, in fact, the update will not appear on your device. But if you have not done it, a notification will appear in Settings indicating the available update. Either way, do not use this type of update to later jailbreak, because you will most likely have problems. The best procedure is to make a backup in iTunes, restore the device so that the latest iOS update is installed, Jailbreak with Evasi0n, and then restore the backup using iTunes. You can also restore the copy and then apply Jailbreak. @pimskeks, member of Evad3rs, is the one who recommends this procedure.
Jailbreak with Evasi0n is very simple. You just have to download the application from Evasi0n.com (for Windows and for Mac OS X), connect your device and click on the Jailbreak button. This done, it only remains follow the instructions that the application itself tells you, and a couple of reboots later, you will have Cydia installed on your device and you will be able to continue enjoying all the tweaks and customization options that the Jailbreak offers. Update through itunes and restore backup, I try to do JB but when I click the evasion icon it does nothing, I restore again, I do the same procedure but it happens again the same. Cydia installation does not start when touching evasion icon. Any suggestions ???

Well, I do not know if it is the correct way that I use but I update my iPhone 5s with jailbreak from iTunes but instead of clicking the restore button, I clicked the update button and I update it without problems to version 7.0.6 and without need to have to restore backup, and I just had to pass evasion 7 ora time and voila (which by the way, after seeing it updated like this, evasion recognized it as I already had jailbreak, but I did not have the iPhone so I just jailbroken it again) and in 10 minutes I already had iPhone updated and jailbroken without needing to restore

The same thing happened to me, I did the jailbreak, cydia was installed, but after a respring it disappeared, along with other icons. I had to go back to restore and start the whole process all over again. Now everything is ok.
Restore the device, recover the backup, and then Jailbreak.
