Since browsers began to take a back seat in favor of smartphone applications, they have had to add new functions to try not to fall into oblivion. Little by little, a large number of apps have been appearing in the different application stores that allow us to control at all times the state of traffic, radars in operation, the state of the roads ...
For some time now the vehicles they offer us more and more added services to try to motivate the purchase by users. But not all users look for vehicles that offer us this type of equipment since we can make use of these improved services directly from our mobiles.
Waze has become one of the best road assistants that we can find in the application stores, since it is compatible with iOS and Android. The Waze application has just received a new update, reaching version 4.0 with a very important novelty that many users had demanded, but due to lack of resources it had not been possible to implement.
With this new update, along with information about the speed at which we move, we find an indicator that shows the maximum speed of the section on which we are driving, as long as we exceed it, to try to avoid that at any moment we exceed the limit and that we fall some other fine. We can customize the alert to jump when we overspeed by 5, 10, or 0%.
For now and as usual, this new feature is geographically limited: Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, Czech Republic, El Salvador, France, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Holland, New Zealand, Sweden, Switzerland, Trinidad, Tobago and Uruguay. Waze plans to offer this new service in more countries soon.
