Why aren't trends showing in my Apple Watch Activity?

Trends

The Activity application of our Apple Watch improved significantly with the latest released version of watchOS 6 and the trends of our Activity. In this case the application would be reading all the data correctly but not all trends are shown, why is this happening?

Well, it seems that there are several factors that influence the readings and one of them is that many of these data are obtained with specific training, the typical "Others" or a training that you do yourself such as "Jump rope" does not work. etc ... Also the time required for our clock to count All Activity trends is great, so it requires a lot of training.

These days I am looking at the Activity application with a little more continuity because I am also increasing the time I dedicate to my daily training, so it surprises me that after this the Activity application does not show all the trends that it can give and I I started looking at possible reasons. Mainly one of the clearest is the one we discussed above, to measure trends requires time but also a specific training for it. Walking and running are a fundamental part to obtain data on VO2, Running Pace and Walking Pace, so without this type of Activity we will not obtain results and then we have Standing Minutes, which in this case we will be able to achieve it without these two activities but with the passage of time and that is requires 6 months of data.

The new watchOS 6 was launched in mid-September 2019, so all of us who installed the new version have been with it for just over four months. To get the Exercise, Standing, Movement and Distance data, the Apple Watch does not require more data than what it finds when exercising, so it is normal that these are the most common.

Activity Trends

Why are trends not showing?

In this way, it must be taken into account that data needs about 180 days of continuous activity so that the trends begin to show so if you have just started running or walking, it will be necessary to be patient and wait for this time to pass. Logically all this without taking off the watch and completing circles together with Running and Walking training. When enough data has been collected, we will receive a notification informing you that you can now check your trends for this exercise.

In my case, running and walking are more sporadic training sessions right now, so it is normal that they do not appear. And you, Do you already have all or almost all the trends unlocked?
