Pregunticas, the game that is causing a sensation in the App Store

A few days ago I told you about Triviated and their wasted opportunity, something that would logically take advantage of in some way or another the rivals competing for a market niche which is usually reserved for one or two apps at most. Pregunticas was on the prowl, and it has finally risen through the rankings in an incredible way.

Same but different

The main idea of Pregunticas is the same as Triviados, but when it comes to playing is where the substantial difference comes. Pregunticas is advertised on its own official website as «The multiplayer trivia game that doesn't hang», which gives us a glimpse that the fame gained by Triviados has exceeded all kinds of limits and even direct competition makes fun of it.

In Pregunticas - a much more mythical name, by the way - we have to answer questions on text, videos, logos, drawings, audios and images to go adding points and end up winning our friends in the particular fight that we will maintain to get a higher score at the end of all the questions. In operation there is nothing new or complicated, it is simple to play and does not present complexities that could make it less interesting.

Good database

Although some questions may present small bugs, without a doubt it does not reach the level of Trivia and based on my experience, I could affirm that at least 95% of the Questions in Questions are correct and do not present errors. The percentage is fine, since we must not forget that the application has more than 60.000 different questions and that the errors could be there because we had to increase the database in a hurry, but fortunately it has not been the case.

Users can participate to add new questions to the game and in this way collaborate to increase the variety of the theme in the questions, something that is extremely key in a game of this type and that unfortunately on many occasions is not fulfilled, leaving the user with the feeling that he is facing something that could have been so much better.

In any case Questions is right now the hottest game in the App Store when it comes to multiplayer trivia, and I'm glad because at least you can see that they have more interest in satisfying users than Trivia. That said, the app can be improved, especially in terms of design, but I trust that in future updates it will be as pleasant to see as it is to play.
