It seems that the arrival of the new iPhone 13 model is finally approaching and Apple is testing a new MagSafe charger model in them. It's about a MagSafe charger with some modifications that has been submitted to the FCC and therefore reveals the existence of four new iPhone models, we assume that the iPhone 13.
The new MagSafe charger that was officially added a few hours ago in the FCC database is the A2548 model, while the current version of the MagSafe charger presented together with the current iPhone 12 has a somewhat different numbering, the A2140.
New MagSafe charger for four new iPhone models
What the tests with this new MagSafe charger show is that in addition to the current iPhone 12 models it was used with one new iPhone models four unidentified “New Phone” units, which would correspond to the iPhone that Apple will present in the coming days and that have been used for tests with silicone cases and without cases.
Almost with total security we can say that it is an improvement in the power of the magnets, it is possible that Apple does not change the shape or design of this rather focus on minor aspects of it. We also do not see possible an increase in charging power, but that we will surely see in a few days when they launch the new iPhone. 9to5Mac indicates these documents were sent last August and that they may already have the modification implemented in them. Let's see if Apple says something officially or just a small improvement of the charger without more.
