A new SNES emulator sneaks into the App Store

SNES Emulator for iOS

New SNES emulator has reached the App Store disguised in an application that apparently lacks much utility but in reality, hides a great potential that Apple has not discovered during its usual review process.

The application in question is called Grab Remote File Manager And although in the description you can read that it is a simple file manager capable of connecting to Dropbox and FTP accounts, it can also open ROMS from the Super Nintendo console to enjoy them from the iPhone or iPad.

To be able to load the ROMS it is essential thave a Dropbox account (You can create one for free). If you already have it, insert a SNES game into it, select it from the Grab Remote File Manager and you can start playing. There is the option to enjoy touch controls or use a joystick that is compatible with the iCade SDK, one of the many controls that we can currently buy before the new ones arrive with official support for iOS 7.

Grab Remote File Manager is a universal application that costs 0,89 euros and that it won't take long to be removed from the App Store. If you still do not have an SNES emulator for iOS, it is certainly a good investment to enjoy great classics from the world of video games.

The application is no longer available in the App Store

Forgive my ignorance, if I buy it and they ban it in the appstore, will I be able to continue using it?

If you have it on the iPhone and you continue using it .. what if you download it to the PC to the installer. so if later for some reason you format your iphone and the app is not in the AppStore you run it from the pc and the iTunes installs the App directly ...

Correct me if I am wrong ... but according to my experience it is like this ...

      Regards!

That's right, once bought it no longer matters that APPLE removes it or makes the kicks that you want, it remains for you forever, the bad thing is that it will not have any support or update and it is even likely that it will not work with the update of a new iOS.

I am always aware of the forum and although on several occasions they have published this about apps that allow playing with roms, I never get to read them before they are unsubscribed, which fails.

I tried it from Dropbox ...

I don't know if I have to see that I paid for the application, I exported several roms that I looked for in google to the dropbox, I connected my dropbox with the application and I simply opened them from there, it works perfectly… .what fault do you get?

            EXTENSION UNSUPORTED gets me.
The thing is that I bought it last night, I don't know if I have to download them from a specific page. What page do you download from?

            1.    Sebastián said

I downloaded several from coolroms.com you have to upload them to the dropbox in .zip I don't know if it has to do with having the dropbox installed on the iPhone, try to see.
