Rare iPhone 4 prototype appears on eBay

IPhone prototype

Every now and then we see some rare Apple products on eBay. It was recently the auction of a First-generation iPhone for $ 10.000 and today we talk about a iPhone 4 prototype whose rear part is totally different from what we are used to.

To begin with, the Apple logo is not present. In its place there is a symbol that first appeared on Twitter during the month of February 2010, even before Gizmodo leaked the iPhone 4 model. We can also see that instead of the classic 'iPhone', the back has the word Prototype engraved, not to mention the legend that says that the device must not be sold without the pertinent authorization.

Another curious detail of this prototype is that it has no screws at the bottom as the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S do.

This phone has appeared on eBay (although the article has already been withdrawn, probably at the request of Apple itself) and a video shows us how the terminal diagnostic software is installed that Apple uses in its test prototypes.

The serial number of this rare iPhone also reveals that the terminal was built at the end of October 2009, that is, almost eight months before the device was available to the public.
