If Apple has put a lot of emphasis, it has always been on the accessibility to all aspects of the iPhone, whether it be to be able to operate through menus, to the possibility of it reading texts to you at more or less speed, color inversion, possibility for blind people to operate with their iPhone or iPad, etc. You just have to go to the accessibility menu of iOS to realize the infinite possibilities that it offers us and that every day there are more with each new update of the operating system.
One of those features that iOS accessibility offers is the ability to activate LED light rear (the flash of the main camera) to notify us of the notifications received while we have the terminal upside down supported.
Activating LED notifications
Activating them is really simple even though not everyone knows about this feature. You just have to follow the following steps:
- We will open the application of Settings.
- We will go to the section General and once inside, we search Accessibility.
- We will find in the Hearing section the section Flashing LED warnings. We enter.
- We can finally activate flashing LED warnings that are disabled by default.
Once these steps have been followed, with each notification we receive in our terminal, the rear LED will light up intermittently to notify us of these new notifications.
The possibility of finding out from the LED that we have notifications is very comfortable if we have the iPhone face down on a table, however, it does not reach the level of the colored LEDs that we find in the rest of Android terminals that emit a much less strong light (keep in mind that it will light up for each notification as if we were taking a photo) and they can also be personalized by colors and their flashing is continuous and not momentary.
