How to activate fast charge mode on iPhone

activate-fast-charging-iphone

While Apple has not just implemented the necessary technology in the iPhone to be able to carry out fast charges of our iPhone or iPad, users we have to resort to small tricks or tweaks to be able to accelerate the load of our device. Perhaps the main reason why they have not implemented it yet is that, according to some battery manufacturers, this type of charge ends up damaging the device's battery in the long run. I do not know what he will refer to in the long run, but in my case, every time the iPhone passes a year of life, the battery begins to give me problems and without making use of this non-existent function in the iPhone.

For those users who are not familiar with the concept of fast charging, this technology allows us to quickly charge our device, at least in the initial phase, offering us a fast way to get some extra battery when our device is in low hours without having to wait the two hours that a full battery charge of the device can take us.

wolfram

Wolfram is a tweak available in Cydia that once installed, detects when the lightning cable has been connected to start charging and automatically activates Low Power Mode. By activating Low Power Mode, the device needs less power to operate by dedicating more of the charge to the battery directly before disconnecting it. When we disconnect the charging cable, Wolfram will automatically deactivate Low Power Mode. A simple and effective idea that does not require a jailbreak since we can do them manually when we need to quickly charge our device.

This tweak is only compatible with iOS 9, because the Low Power Mode feature is not available in iOS 8. Wolfram is supported from iOS 9.0.x to the latest supported jailbreak version, iOS 9.1. This tweak it is available for free on the BigBooss repo.

I put it on at night when I get from work in airplane mode and it charges fast.

For me there is nothing better than using the ipad charger, with that I charge twice as fast as with the normal charger, do the test and you will see.

I use the ipad charger and turn off the iphone completely and it charges very fast.

Mother of God what a botch! Luis, this is not activating fast charging, mainly because the iPhone DOES NOT HAVE FAST CHARGING, this is nothing more than leaving the services of the iPhone under minimums and obviously this way it will charge faster for the simple reason that those services would no longer be draining the battery while loading, so logically it would finish loading earlier. This same technique should work with any phone that has an airplane mode in which mobile services (of whatever brand) are put to a minimum.

If you charge the iPhone with the iPad charger it will also charge faster but again not because "fast charge is activated" but because the iPad charger supplies more power than the iPhone charger and therefore also charges faster.

The competition is putting the batteries in an incredible way (there is no more to see the new S7 Edge) and the iPhone in my opinion is increasingly stopping with "news" that of course they have little usability at least for now (if , I'm talking about 3D Touch); or they are dedicated to eliminating the most universal port in history for headphones with the ONLY objective of continuing to squeeze our pockets and above with the childish excuse that this way the iPhone will be thinner, which of course I do not know or how they do not fall the face of shame when giving that "explanation". However, they forget about a universal NFC which is what will truly give wings to this technology, in providing a true fast charge to the terminal, completely freeing the Bluetooth (although currently passing files through Bluetooth is almost an anachronism), etc etc. What they do not forget is to eliminate a port that is the most universal in history with an excuse that is to go for a piss and not take a drop, unless it was with the aim of implementing what will surely be the universal connector in the middle of the year (the USB-C), and not to force us (well we will have the wonderful adapter ...) to use its proprietary Lightning connector and therefore, and as I say, squeeze our pockets even more.

Poor Jobs, of course you do not know how calm you are, what they are doing with your company has no name.

3D Touch will be little usability, I use it daily, not like the programs on the side of the sansumg edge that I never used, you will see how the next sansumg brings it, but it takes two generations to copy, I have used the high-end sansumg As long as I buy the iPhone I would not think of going back to Android, not to mention the updates, we will see when sansumg has Android N it will be by mid-2017, not to mention the value of the mobile phone on that date the iPhone 6s will be worth double than the sansumg 7, that is the brand positioning, iphone is worth much more than android and everything that has that apple, is sold immediately anywhere.

Man, a technology that can only be used if the developers implement it ... That's why I said "FOR THE MOMENT" mate, you didn't use the Edge side panel? Well boy I find it super-useful and in fact I use it a lot.

Which Samsung will implement the 3D Touch? Well, I do not doubt it, just like Apple implemented the notification center years after Android had it, but let's hope that Apple will put the batteries and also adopt free NFC, fast charging, pseudo-wireless charging (so less until the real wireless arrives).

At this point in the movie, don't be a partner to say that Android copies Apple sounds anachronistic, I'm not going to tell you that in the past this was the case, but currently the competition is taking huge steps and they are eating Apple by the feet. And watch out! Make no mistake, if you have followed the blog you will know that for many years I have been an Apple user from the iPhone 4 through the 5 and then the 6 (which I have already given) and I have also had the iPad 3 and now the iPad Mini 4 that this if I do not intend to release. In tablets in my opinion Apple is well above the competition. I want to tell you with all this that I am not an Android Taliban, I am simply a user who was happy in the iOS environment until Cook and Ive destroyed it, now I am a completely disenchanted user who has realized that Apple is not nor the shadow of what it was, the scams that have occurred with the iPad 3, the iPhone 5c, and now the one that is going to occur with the iPhone 7 and the elimination of the mini-jack has filled my patience.

I am not going to discuss the higher resale price of the iPhone because it is true, or rather, it was. You just have to go to GSMSpain and see how many "ups" and "private answers" there are in the sales threads of iPhone 6s simply because people no longer pay what the seller thinks they can get, which as I told you before if it was true that I could get. You may also be surprised by announcements in which new 6s Plus are barely changed for S7 Edge.

You say that you would not return to Android, well I would not return to the iPhone at least until Cupertino realize that they are screwing it up but on the basis of good, that many no longer strain us. I don't know, maybe in 2018 when the iPhone has to come, and also in Europe by obligation, with the single port (surely the USB-C), and they will integrate something truly innovative (for example, really wireless charging) the things change and come back but for now they don't fool me anymore.
