Activate the 3D Touch Peek & Pop function in notifications

peek pop

The new technology used by Apple in the screens of the new iPhone 6s, offers many possibilities that are only available in the new iPhone models and that for many people has been more than enough reason to update your device one year old for the new model.

This pressure sensitive screen offers us in addition to new possibilities a lot of play when interacting with applications and the Jailbreak community continues to take advantage of it in the form of tweaks to emulate the operation of this new technology.

Currently in Cydia we find several tweaks that allow us to perform 3D Touch in the applications to be able to access the quick actions that they offer us, but at the moment there was still no tweak that would allow us to enable the Peek & Pop function in old devices, to open quickly links, emails, messages ... and proceed as appropriate with them. But with a bit of luck everything will come.

Hamza Sood, developer of the 3DNotificacions tweak we are talking about, has also developed other tweaks such as UntetheredHeySiri and NewsOfTheWorld. This tweak allows us Long press on the lock screen in notifications that these open and show us the content so that we can take a look and see if they are interesting or not.

If it is not interesting we can drag it to the left to dismiss it or up to see quick actions that the notification can offer us as Reply or Mark the mails. At the moment this tweak is compatible with some applications, not all such as Messages, Mail, Telephone, Calendar and Wallet, although the programmer states that he will soon be able to implement it in third-party applications, which are not installed natively in iOS 9.

This tweak is available for download on the BigBoss repo for $ 1,50 and only compatible with the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s models Plus that natively integrate these functions. If your device is not one of the supported models, you will not be able to install the tweak.
