Activator, Flipswitch and FlipControlCenter now available for iOS 10 in beta

Activator, Flipswitch and FlipControlCenter beta now available for iOS 10

There are not a few jailbreak users who install their iOS device as soon as they release Activator. The famous Ryan Petrich tweak, as its name suggests, helps us to activate some gestures, such as launching an application or setting by sliding on the screen, touching a corner or interacting with the Touch ID. But what about the support for the latest versions of iOS.

It has not yet officially arrived, but Petrich has already released the first betas to include support for iOS 10.1, the latest version that has a jailbreak available. Along with the first beta of Activator with support for iOS 10, the developer has also released the first beta of Flipswitch and FlipControlCenter to support the same version of Apple's mobile operating system.

Activator updates to add preliminary support for iOS 10.1

Activator, Flipswitch and FlipControlCenter beta to support iOS 10.1 are available now.

As what is available are betas, we will not be able to install them if we use the repositories that are installed by default in Cydia. If we want to use these and other betas or developer software not available in Cydia, we will have to add developer repository As follows:

  1. We open Cydia.
  2. We touch on the Sources tab.
  3. We tap on Edit and then on Add.
  4. In the pop-up window that appears, we have to add the text http://rpetri.ch/repo
  5. We tap on Add source.
  6. Finally, we can search for the tweaks and install them. If we already had them installed, the most normal thing is that they appear in the updates section, from where we can install them.

As for whether they are worth installing or not, personally I would not recommend its installation For two reasons: the first is that Yalu Jailbreak is at an early stage, so much so that Todesco makes it clear on its website that we should not install it. On the other hand, what is also in beta phase are these three tweaks, so it is possible that we add instability + instability and end up using a device that fails longer than it works.

In any case, if despite our warnings you install Activator or any of the other two tweaks, do not hesitate to leave your experiences in the comments.
