Adobe updated its image editing application for iOS yesterday, October 4, Photoshop Express. Version 4.0 promises a fully new user experience and it includes other novelties but, from the point of view of a user who only wants to edit and share some photos, the new version is more of a minor update than one that is worth changing the first version number, and more if we take into account what other applications offer such as Pixelmator or Enlight, although it must be recognized that, unlike the two applications mentioned, Photoshop Express has free functions.

- All-new user experience that makes creating more compelling images easier and more enjoyable than ever.
- Support for Adobe CreativeSync, so we can move photos between Photoshop Express and other Adobe mobile applications such as Photoshop Mix, Photoshop Fix and Aviary Photo Editor.
- Access to Photoshop Express directly from the iOS default Photos application via extension (something that is possible on iOS since September 2014).
- Possibility of importing photos directly from Dropbox and Facebook.
- Error correction.
The main drawback of Photoshop Express 4.0 is that most of interesting options are paid, so if we want to make the most of the application we will have to buy the advanced package (€ 4,99), only the Adobe effects package (€ 2,99) or the Adobe Border Pack (€ 0.99) with which we can put frames to our photos. An Adobe Revel Premium option is also available for € 5,99 / month or € 59,99 / year.
Photoshop Express is an application that requires iOS 7.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. It is not available in Spanish (another reason why I prefer Pixelmator or Enlight).
