When Adobe released Photoshop for iPad, many were the users who celebrated the announcement until they downloaded the application and verified how to be able to use the application, we had to pay 10,99 euros per month, for perhaps a more than sporadic use of the application and to which we had to add other charges if we used more applications from the same developer.
Despite the fact that this was one of the most anticipated applications by iPad users, many said that they were not willing to pay for such a subscription. Far from lowering the price, Adobe have let time pass and a few hours ago, they have launched a new pack of applications at a much tighter price.
This pack of applications includes Photoshop, Illustrator, Fresco, Spark Post and Creative Cloud as well as access to Adobe Fonts and Behance along with 100 GB of storage. The monthly fee of this pack de 15,99 euros per month or 159,99 euros per year. If we take into account that only the Photoshop subscription has 10,99 euros, obviously if you use or had the intention of using these applications, now it can be much more affordable.
Adobe has made the announcement of this offer through its blog, in a post in which Scoot Belsky, Executive Vice President of Adobe, states that:
There comes a turning point in the development of all successful technologies, a time when technology, design, availability, and understanding of market needs mature and that technology suddenly seems not only viable, but inevitable. I think we are at that tipping point with mobile creative tools.
If you only intend to work from the iPad, it is an option to consider. However, if you want get the most out of it from a PC or Mac via Creative Cloud and the storage space, you will have to pay the monthly subscription to Photoshop that has a price of 10,99 euros per month. If you also want Illustrator, you have to add another 10 euros per month.
