A couple of years ago, Amazon launched the Dash buttons, buttons that we could configure with different products so that when you click on them, they are automatically included in the shopping list. But over time, the functions of this little device have fallen short and the guys at Jeff Bezos have launched a new version of the Amazon Dash Wand, a device that integrates the personal assistant Alexa and with which we can make the shopping list directly through voice commands or by using the integrated barcode scanner. And as usual in this type of product it is "free".
As usual, in most devices Amazon launches on the market, it has a cost of 20 dollars, 20 dollars that will be refunded in discount vouchers in our Amazon Prime account of the company. At the moment it is only available in the United States, something that has also become commonplace in the politics of many companies. The amazon Dash Wand is designed for the Amazon Fesh section, the perishable goods shopping section of Amazon, a section that is also available in Spain.
In addition to making the purchase using voice commands or by scanning the barcodes, we can also use it to ask you questions about our calendar appointments, traffic conditions or questions to provide us with results from the internet. It is also compatible with smart devices connected to the Amazon Echo, in this way we can use the Dash Wand to dim the lights, raise the blinds, turn off the lights ... The only functionality that the Amazon Dash Wand does not offer us, for obvious reasons, is music playback, since due to the small size of the device, the quality that it could offer us would be too low.
