Amazon Moon

Amazon has just officially announced that its new commitment to the world of streaming videogames, dubbed Luna, will be released later this year and will do so for both Windows and macOS, Fire TV devices, Android and even iOS.

At the time of its launch it will feature more than 100 titles including Resident Evil 7, Control, Panzer Dragon, The Surge 2… Thanks to the agreement reached with Ubisoft, Luna users will also be able to access titles such as Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Far Cry among others.

All titles available on the Luna platform will be available in 4K resolution at 60 fps, and if things do not change, each of the titles available on this platform will be available in the form of a separate application.

In recent weeks, much has been said about the possibility of streaming video game services being present in Apple's mobile ecosystem. At the beginning of August, Microsoft announced that it was halting the project as Apple guidelines did not allow it, a news that did not sit well with Apple users.

Earlier this month, Apple was forced to modify those guidelines for accommodate these new services, although as usual, in its own way. Any streaming video game service that wants to be available on iOS will have to offer a separate application for each game.

Microsoft stated shortly after Apple's announcement that this method was doing make it difficult to use your platform. A few days ago, the head of Microsoft said that Game Pass is coming to iOS and that currently is negotiating with Apple, so it is likely that Apple will again modify those guidelines that it costs so much to modify for the experience of this type of services does not require the installation of each title independently.
