An interesting render of the future curved iPhone takes us back to the Matrix

iPhone curved render

A few days ago it was given to know the news that Apple was working on a new iPhone with a curved screen and that it would offer the possibility of handling it by means of gestures. Thus, it was time for designers to unleash their imaginations. Since iDropNews They send us this "render" that they have made in collaboration with the designer Martin Hajek.

Apple's idea with this new iPhone concept would be to differentiate itself from the competition. Although the iPhone X was a revolutionary in the sector, at least as far as design is concerned, it is no less true that the competition offers very similar solutions, even the same. Therefore, to get the public's attention - although this Apple knows how to do perfectly thanks to its great marketing team -, the idea is to launch a groundbreaking design again.

According to Bloomberg sources, this new iPhone would have a curved design from start to finish; that is, no rounded edges, but would have a curvature similar to what we can find in the mythical Nokia 8110 model that was recently relaunched to the market. And it seems that Martin Hajek has wanted to base on this model used in the trilogy directed by the Wachowsky sisters. And we say this since the design also offers a sliding cover that would hide part of the screen; part that would make room for the virtual keyboard.

Also, from iDrop News they tell us that this "render" is narrower and thinner than the current iPhone X. On the other hand, something interesting is that Apple is also committed to controlling the smartphone without having to touch the screen. As pointed out from 9to5mac, this technology is nothing new; Samsung or Google have already opted for gesture controls, it is true that according to the leaks those of Cupertino would not be based on sensors on the edges of the chassis, but sensors spread across the screen.

At the moment, the dates that are shuffled for its start-up is two to three years, minimum. The only thing we can leave you in the meantime is more images of the iDrop News design. Can you imagine an iPhone with these characteristics? Now, let's not forget that they met new patents in which reference was made to flexible batteries and 3D screens.
