Angry Birds already syncs your games in the cloud

Angry-Birds-Accounts-2

The number of times I have had to start playing Angry Birds from scratch, I am not able to give an approximate number. This is going to change because Rovio now gives the option to create an account that stores our data and thus be able to start our game on one device and finish it on another, as long as they both have the same active account.

Apple has long offered developers the ability to back up their application data to iCloud. This function is used by some to synchronize games between devices or to recover the progress made by reinstalling the application on our device. This prevents us from having to start our games over and over again when changing devices or restoring them without using the backup option. Unfortunately, few developers offer this feature, despite the fact that the iCloud service has been around for a couple of years now. Instead, it seems that what is proliferating is that each developer create their own synchronization system in the cloud, creating your own account.

Be that as it may, it is still good news that we can finally save our progress on Angry Birds. To create your account or use one already created, you must click on the button marked with the arrow in the image above. Associate an email account and password and you will have your account. For now Rovio only offers this service in the original Angry Birds game (iPhone and iPad) and in The Croods, but as the Finns announce on their blog, little by little they will be extending this function to the rest of the brand's games. In addition, this service is multiplatform, an advantage that it is typical of Rovio and not using iCloud, so that if you use iOS and Android devices, you can continue your games indistinctly in one or the other.
