We're just days away from Apple predictably announcing its next event, rumored to take place on March 23, and in which we could see the next AirPods, which have been filtered back into images.
The AirPods are about to be renewed, and according to all the rumors it seems that it will not be a simple internal update, but there will also be a design change that will make them very similar to the AirPods Pro. A longer charging case and a design almost identical to the AirPods Pro which has been repeated over and over again in images of alleged leaks. In fact, we could say that these AirPods 3 would be AirPods Pro but without the silicone plug that helps to seal the earpiece in our ear canal.

It is precisely at this point, the silicone plug, where rumors are contradicted and where users do not agree. On the one hand, there are leaks that ensure that you will have the silicone plugs, while some images, including the one we put in this article today, appear without caps or space for them. On the other hand, users do not agree on whether they like the fact that they are "in-ear" headphones or not. Many are faithful to that type of headphones for the seal that achieves passive noise cancellation, others find it uncomfortable. As we say, if the image we see today is true, there will be no plug, which raises doubts about how stable they will be in our ears.
We do not know what news the headphones will bring in terms of features, although it is practically certain that they will not have active noise cancellation, something that will be reserved for the AirPods Pro.
