App Store for iPad now allows alphabetical ordering of purchased applications

App Store for iPad

Quietly, Apple has quietly upgraded to the App Store for iPad, a quite subtle change but that for many it can be very important. This change has been made directly in the backend of the application store for iOS.

From now on when browsing through the App Store on the iPad you will see how when viewing the purchased apps from our account on the left side a new bar that will allow us to search for alphabetical order the applications that we have acquired.

Without a doubt, this is a change that seeks to make our lives easier when searching for a specific application, which for many could become a real nightmare when having a large number of purchased applications, which usually used to be ordered chronologically.

This order bar is similar to the one we see in the Music application in iOS 6, with which when touching a letter it quickly transports us to the titles that begin with that letter. This a priori may seem very simple to most, but strangely it is a function that has been called out for a long time and that is still not present in the iPhone.

It's true!! It's something they should have done a long time ago; the weird thing is that it is not in the new iOS 7 (at least on the iPhone)

It is still useless. If you search in purchases instead of the normal App store, it is because you do not remember the name.
The really useful thing would be that it was organized by categories.
