Apple adds three new international airports to Apple Maps

Undoubtedly one of the Apple services that I use the most is Apple Maps, a service that a few years ago was quite expendable due to the poor maps it had compared to the giant Google Maps, but which is becoming more and more competitive, even becoming better than its Google Maps counterpart sometimes.

Apple still wants us to use Apple Maps and stop using other mapping services like Google Maps. For this reason, it continues to add features to Apple Maps, it is worth that we still do not have the expected Apple Street View, but with the new features of Apple Maps we can see how Apple's map service is increasingly competitive. If a few days ago the lane change aid was expanded to more countries, now it is again the airport maps that are added as a novelty. Apple just added maps of three new international airports to Apple Maps, we will no longer get lost in these small cities ...

As we told you, Apple has just added geolocation through Apple Maps for airports in Sydney International, Edinburgh, and Hamad International in Doha (Qatar). These new airport maps within Apple Maps allow us to locate ourselves within the selected airports, something quite interesting since the added airports are like small cities and it can be a chaos to move through them, thanks to Apple Maps we will be able to know where our gate, transit times between one terminal and another, and which stores to visit while we make a long-term stopover.

We even have the possibility of move around the different floors of the airport and see what's on them. Of course, we will need to be connected via mobile data or via Wi-Fi, something that will not be difficult thanks to the free Wi-Fi that we will find at these airports. Great news that makes us think that Apple continues to have plans for Apple Maps, a service that has undoubtedly improved substantially and is already at the level of other competing services such as Google Maps.
