Apple.com: Two Decades of the Web in a 3-Minute Time-Lapse

Apple.com: 20 Years in 3 Minutes

La Apple's website turned 20 recently. It could be said that they opened the web coinciding with modern Apple, that is, a year before Steve Jobs returned to the company he founded in the mid-70s. Since then there have been many changes, always showing the most outstanding novelties of the company that makes the smartphone that gives this blog its name.

Being able to see how apple.com has been during all these years would not be an easy task, unless we do it by watching a video like the one you have below these lines. It's about a Time Lapse or a slideshow of only three minutes that I personally have seen almost without blinking.

Apple.com changes in just 3 minutes

The video begins with a voice of Steve Jobs that ends with that "the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do«. In the different captures we see all kinds of interesting moments, such as the iBook in 2002, the iPod in 2002, iTunes in 2003, the iPhone in 2007, the App Store in 2009, the iPad in 2010, the death of Steve Jobs in 2011 or the AirPods already in 2016. It seems important to mention that the years that appear below each image are those of the web, not when the products.

El web design also changes a lot over the years, starting with a somewhat chaotic website, going through a reduction of sections and ending with the most current version, much simpler and with a much flatter design. Logically, all the new products that have been launched, such as the Apple Watch, have also been added to the web.

What I find curious about this type of time travel is to see how were the devices long ago, even asking me if their designs were liked at the time. The point is that, if Apple has gone as far as it has come, it will be that it did like it, right?

Wow. Very good video. I entered the Apple world from the iPhone in 2007. It was impossible to ignore that at that time. To this day, it is a brand that I do not change for anything ...
