Apple commemorates Veterans Day on the App Store

On November 11 was Veterans Day in America, a holiday in which all the men and women who have served in the American army are remembered. A very important day in the United States, comparable to holidays such as the famous July 4 or Thanksgiving.

Apple knows the importance of this day and has wanted to honor during these days all those who served in the United States Army by promulgating and defending the freedom of all Americans (opinions apart). And it has been his own Tim Cook who has honored the memory of these veterans through your Twitter account and enabling a special section in the American App Store ...

Proud to work alongside these, and others, Apple veterans. We honor all the brave men and women who have sacrificed to defend our freedom.

This has been the tweet accompanied by the previous photograph that Tim Cook posted on his Twitter account, a photograph in which we can see some of the veterans who are currently part of the apple company. A memory that, as we said, has accompanied a new section in the main tab of the App Store with applications with content of this day: applications about military news, health and wellness, and useful tools for everyday life.

In addition to the new section of the App Store, a Special playlist on Apple Music with music chosen by some of the veterans with which Apple has in its ranks. An interesting memory that is part of the different local campaigns that Apple does in each country where it has an App Store.
