Apple has just announced the expansion of most services to other countries, some of which are practically essential to be able to use an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, as is the case with the App Store. The availability of the App Store other countries it is accompanied by the Apple Arcade, Apple Podcast, iCloud and Apple Music.
In the case of Apple Music, Apple's streaming music service lands in 72 new markets, 52 of them will be able to make use of a free trial for 6 months, instead of the 3 months that it usually continues to offer since this service was launched on the market in June 2015.
Thanks to the international expansion of these services, more users of Apple products will be able to access the main features of their devices. In some of these countries, Apple allowed users of its devices to use the App Store in a nearby country. Expanding Apple's services to more countries will help the Cupertino-based company to expand revenue generated by services, in addition to offering new monetization opportunities for developers.
New countries where the Apple Store, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Podcast and iCloud are already available.
- Africa: Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Libya, Morocco, Rwanda and Zambia.
- Pacific Asia: Maldives and Myanmar.
- Europe: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia.
- Middle East: Afghanistan (excluding Apple Music) and Iraq.
- Oceania: Nauru (excluding Apple Music), Tonga and Vanuatu.
Countries where Apple Music offers a 6-month trial period:
- Africa: Algeria, Angola, Benin, Chad, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Namibia, Republic of the Congo, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Tanzania and Tunisia.
- Asia and the Pacific: Bhutan.
- Europe: Croatia, Iceland and North Macedonia.
- Latin America and the Caribbean: Bahamas, Guyana, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Turks and Caicos and Uruguay.
- Middle East: Kuwait, Qatar and Yemen.
- Oceania: Solomon Islands.
Apple is expected to launch a service package in the next two years, a package that includes some of your services together at a lower price than are currently available independently.
