Normally the guys from Cupertino were expected at the end of the year to make the increase or decrease in prices, but for just over a year, Apple has no problem making these changes when it pleases. The new prices they will come into effect at the end of the week that comes and will affect all European countries equally, regardless of the Value Added Tax that is applied in each country.
Throughout yesterday, developers began to receive an email from Apple in which you could read this new increase, an increase that only affected the price of applications and integrated purchases. At no time will it affect the price of subscriptions that renew automatically. In the same email, Apple informs the developers that can change the price of subscriptions at any time through iTunes Connect, offering them the option of continuing to maintain the price they currently pay.
The iPhoneAddict website has shared a list with the new prices that the applications will have starting next week, the week in which the price of the applications will take effect. Thus the price of entry to buy any application will be 1,09 euros, showing an increase of 10 cents, from 0,99 euros. Applications that previously cost 1,99 euros, will cost 2,29 euros, those that cost 2,99 euros will cost 3,49 euros and so on. As we can see, the higher the price of the application, the higher the increase it will suffer.
