Apple is starting to notify us of price increases for iOS subscriptions

We commented on it in the last podcast, more and more developers allow us to "test" applications so that later we go to subscriptions of the same, or make a single payment. A policy that we may like more or less, yes, do not forget that free apps also have a cost, and this usually is to pay with our data ... Apple allows developers to change the prices of subscriptions, but now they will send us a notification whenever this happens. After the jump we give you all the details of the changes in the new Apple subscription policy.

As you know, we are the ones who have to cancel a subscription before its renewal, that is, the subscriptions renew automatically if we have not given another order. And the problem is that developers can increase (or even lower) the price of the subscriptions that we have active, that is why the renewal of it will have the new price. Apple has just activated these notifications that will notify us that the developer has increased the price of purchases within its application, and therefore of his subscription, and in the case of wanting to continue with it, we will have to pay the new price. Don't you want to pay more to renew your subscription? Apple will allow us to cancel the subscription and we will keep it active until it is time to renew it. An interesting notification that will make us be more attentive to any change in the prices of our subscriptions.

I have to say that I have not missed any of these notifications, I have several active subscriptions but all of them seem to maintain the price in successive renewals, but now that developers can increase prices we may see notifications of this style more often than we would like. Time to time .. And to you, Have you missed any notification with a price change in your subscriptions?

From what you say, payment applications do not trade with our data. Is that so?

It is generally said that if a product is free, the payment "is you." This is not always the case, but let's say it's a fairly close generalization to reality.
