Apple releases fourth beta of iOS 9.2. There is a public version

beta-ios-92

Apple launched a little less than an hour ago the fourth beta of iOS 9.2. This new version, like the previous ones, has been released just a week after the previous version and is available for developers and also in a public version, so it can be installed on any device compatible with iOS 9. The update is available from the Apple software developers center or via OTA (Over The Air) and, as with any other version of iOS, to install it you must have at least 50% battery on the iPhone, iPod or iPad or have it connected to a power outlet.

We remember that the novelty that Apple is focusing the most on is improve Safari View Controller, This will allow third-party applications to better run Apple's native browser, which allows them, for example, to use the Safari Reader view or use content blockers, among other possibilities. On the other hand, iOS 9.2 also includes the possibility of stopping the navigation of the maps using voice, something that had disappeared in previous betas. In addition, the following new features are included:

What's new in iOS 9.2 beta 4

  • Support for AT & T's new "NumberSync" feature that lets you use the iPhone number with other connected devices.
  • Siri now supports Arabic, something that was not available until today.

If we are not surprised between now and when the final version of iOS 9.2 is released, this update will disappoint more than iOS 9.1, the version that brought a handful of new emoji as the most important novelty. Of course, there is also the possibility that most of the improvements are bug fixes and system improvements, so if in the end it is as you say many users and it improves performance, welcome are the few news, right?

Hello!! I updated yesterday via ota to beta 4 but the build keeps coming out with 13C75 when it is supposed to be 13C5075, and when updating software I don't get anything ... Do you know something?

As far as I know, it's 13C5075. The only thing I can think of is that the public beta is different.

To know if it is 4, to be sure, you can check if Siri is in Arabic. If not, it would be weird.

      A greeting.
