Apple releases iOS 11.2.5 without battery manager trace

The controversy of the battery, the degradation and the low consumption mode that Apple imposes on many users was supposed to have its days numbered. More because we were looking at the horizon iOS 11.2.5, a version with few functionalities at the operational level, but which is supposed to be solving problems that iOS has dragged on for a long time.

Nothing is further from reality, Apple just released iOS 11.2.5 and we have no sign of the new battery management capabilities they proposed. On the other hand, if they have seen fit to include a small review about the HomePod, very close to its launch.

As you can read in the header:

iOS 11.2.5 includes support for HomePod and introduces the ability for Siri to read the news (Australia, United States, and United Kingdom only). This update also includes bug fixes and improvements.

Ultimately, they end up announcing us a product that we will not be able to buy in Spain, capabilities that we will not be able to enjoy in Spain (nor in many other Spanish-speaking countries) and some supposed improvements and bug fixes, which taking into account the latest events, one almost trembles.

Anyway this update has not come alone, could not miss its version of watchOS 4.2.2 that also includes improvements and bug fixes, hand in hand with versions 11.2.5 for tvOS (in the same line) and of course macOS High Sierra that comes to a new version that has the famous fixes for Intel processor vulnerabilities called Specter and Meltdown (although they are supposedly fixed previously).

Ultimately, we have rather little to say about this new update but we are already testing it in case we find something that Apple has ignored in its brief notes.

Thank you very much for the information. I hope that when they include the battery option you will comment on it, since that would be when I took the step to update my iphone.

    Thanks again

I finished updating (for the iPhone) and now I get to connect it to iTunes ... go chestnut! It is time to restore it completely and download the 2,75 GB from my town with 6mb of download. Everything was fine, ready to reboot and boot 11.2.5 and suddenly support.apple.com/iphone/restore

Has it happened to someone the same?
    I have a 7 plus 256gb

Don't say blowjob and find out a little more. iOS 11.2.5 had already been developed before the battery controversy became known. What Apple promised with batteries, it comes with iOS 11.3 which is now available to developers.

With the update, the battery melts itself in just 6 hours without using the device. Fatal. How do I uninstall this update?

I have an iphone 6 with ios 11.1.1 which with that operating system the load goes very fast, if I update it, will the problem be solved?

I have an iPhone 6 and when I update it it restarts continuously and to charge the battery it takes half a day or more and putting it on low consumption. I do not advise at all to update devices.
